The Art Deco Trend is rather influential in the world of interior design, inspiring especially textile and furniture design. Art Deco is the new mid-century modernism interior trend. As one of the most inspiring, opulent and glamorous periods in design history, hints of Art Deco are popping up in detailing on tables, chairs, lighting and the mixed metals trend also give a nod to the style.
With the dawn of Art Deco, furniture and decor moved beyond just function and transformed into sculptures that mimicked architecture. It was all about smooth and streamlined surfaces, vertical lines, and geometric patterns such as zigzags, chevrons, and starbursts.
From a color perspective, pink continues to be very strong in decoration. Given that, we expect colors that complement the blush hue to do very well, specifically, olive green, oxblood, and navy.
Eclectic clutter is all about creating harmony within purposefully disorganized living spaces. The best thing about the eclectic clutter trend is that no two home’s will ever look the same.
The eclectic clutter trend works wonderfully for homeowners that want to establish a dynamic atmosphere within their home. Mixing clashing prints with bold colors and intricate patterns, this trend certainly isn’t for fainthearted interior designers.
Animal prints in home décor can take your interiors from boring to exciting without changing the entire room. But if you are not sure how to style it, remember that it doesn’t have to be in-your-face to make an impact, you can use rugs or pillows for example.
Worried animal prints won’t match your home’s decorating style? Don’t worry, because even a more dramatic and dark living room feels fresh with a pop of animal print.
Just like I Said, animal prints don’t have to be in-your-face, with a subtle palette, this pillow will add a unique touch to any living room decor.
