Chic Urban Attitude In White Tones

White Tones – There’s nothing more classic than white tones! These shades offer subtle nuances that adapt to different lighting, furniture, and surrounding colors. So, if you are looking for a softer look, Covet House created a moodboard that showcases how you can decorate a modern home with some lighter and brighter colors! Hope you feel inspired:   ODETTE SOFA Inspired by the Swan Lake Op. 20, ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Odette Sofa tells the story of a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse. Its sweeping silhouette is accentuated with a polished brass structure and an asymmetric back offers a sophisticated design and timeless appeal.   CROWN MIRROR More than just a simple piece of art, the Crown mirror represents a living tribute to beauty. The breathtaking combination of smoked black mirror and gold plated brass, challenges the notion of exquisiteness and breaks all the creative boundaries.   NEWTON CONSOLE Defying laws of physics, this futuristic piece of furniture has been designed by taking inspiration from its elder brother – Newton dining table. Newton console is a standout piece of international desire that distinguishes itself from all the other designs by its futuristic forms.   Would you like to incorporate white…

Add a Zen Yet Timeless Touch to Your Interiors by Using Neutral Colors

Over the past weeks, the Best Design Books blog has displayed a comprehensive range of design moodboards all focused on a particular theme. Today, we return to color trends with neutral colors. These sublime shades are often regarded as the great colors that do not oversaturate a space and actually complement really well other colors. There are endless possibilities to create a marvelous interior design using neutral tones, so now, take a look at a series of contemporary interiors that feature neutral tones as the main star!       In the context of interior design, neutral means without color. Neutrals such as beige, ivory, taupe, black, gray and shades of white appear to be without color, but in many applications these hues often have undertones. Be aware of these underlying tones as you match colors or choose paint. For example, beige might have an undertone of pink, tan or gold. White might be slightly ivory, yellow, bluish or peachy. Neutrals can be used in decor in two basic ways — either as a soft, neutral only, quiet look or as background colors for dramatic accents.         If you prefer an all-neutral division, the best way to have a…
