Book Review: New Approach of Architecture and Design by Josef Hoffmann  – Before aesthete, designer, and architect Josef Hoffmann (1870–1956) came along, Austrian architecture and design was suffocating under a surfeit of opulent ornamentation and bombastic flourish.
