About the authors: Alain Laurens founded La Cabane Perchée in 2000 with watercolor artist Daniel Dufour, who imagines and designs the tree houses, and journeyman carpenter Ghislain André, who builds them with a team of carpenters and woodworkers. To date, La Cabane Perchée has constructed nearly 350 treehouses around the world, many of which are showcased in Exceptional Treehouses and Treehouse Living.
