The World according to Karl(published by Flammarion) was written by Sandrine Gulbenkian, director of the French publisher Parigramme and by Patrick Mauries editor and author of Jewelry by Chanel. The graphism of the book was made by Charles Ameline, a contemporary illustrator. The World according to Karl is a collection of quotes that pays homage to the legendary éminence grise of the fashion world.
